Tinker time

In Tinker Time we have been learning about how kites work.

We looked at a diagram of how kites work and there are some elements like gravity, lift, drag and thrust. 

Before we started learning , 34H and 3M came to our classroom and we got into pairs and we started writing the elements of how a kite flys.

We learned about some people who created kites. Jeremiah and Anthony

Every Wednesday Stage 2 goes to cricket. We are playing cricket to practice.	This is when we practice bating. Here's                      Harry. He's an awesome batter and he scores a six every time he bats.
We are doing a lot of running as you can see. In this game we run as fast as we can to get the cricket ball.	So they run to the other side then run round the cone then run back. Here's Fraser  and Christian doing there best at that.

PE

This term in PE we are leaning cricket skills. In particular, we are focusing on batting. 4E have been using various bats to practise their hand eye coordination. We have had a try at hockey and badminton. This will culminate in our Cricket Gala Day in a few weeks time.
